Hey everyone, hope you are having an incredible day today. Today, I will show you a way to make a special dish, gizdodo. It is one of my favorites. For mine, I am going to make it a little bit tasty. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Gizdodo is a simple side dish that is often served with rice; especially Jollof rice. It is easy to deduce from the name that this meal will be basically made of gizzards and ripe plantain. Hence Gizdodo (Gizzard Dodo) and we all know that dodo is just another name for ripe plantain. Gizdodo, also known as gizzard and dodo, is a stir-fry of gizzards and fried plantain that is ever-popular at most Nigerian parties.

Gizdodo is one of the most popular of current trending meals in the world. It’s easy, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. They’re nice and they look wonderful. Gizdodo is something that I have loved my entire life.

To get started with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few components. You can cook gizdodo using 8 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Gizdodo:
  1. Make ready 3 Plantain
  2. Get 1/2 kg gizzard
  3. Take 4 fresh pepper
  4. Take 1 onion
  5. Make ready 2 green bell pepper
  6. Make ready 2 knorr cube
  7. Get to taste Salt
  8. Prepare Canola oil for frying both plantain and gizzard

This is one of those recipes "invented" from excesses or in order to reduce food wastage. If you've read through my older posts, you'll know that I love plantains…. a lot. So you bet I also love Dodo gizzards☺. Gizdodo as I like to say, is basically a fusion of chicken gizzards and plantain (also known as dodo) stewed in a peppered sauce.

Steps to make Gizdodo:
  1. Wash and peel plantain; cut into cubes; toss a little salt and set aside; in a frying pan pour in canola oil heat up and fry your plantain
  2. Wash and dice gizzard to desired shape; dice pepper, onion and bell pepper then set aside; parboil gizzard and spice with knorr cube, pepper and onions once it’s tender remove from heat and set aside
  3. Drain the gizzard from the sauce and deep fry the gizzard once you are done with the plantain and set aside
  4. Heat up another frying pan and add a 1/2 cooking spoon of canola oil once it’s hot, add onions and after a minute add pepper
  5. Stir and then add salt and knorr then add the plantain and gizzard mix everything together and taste to confirm its to your taste
  6. Finally add green bell pepper and stir; then turn off heat and serve

The more serotonin in your brain, the more pleasant you’ll feel. Not just that but nuts, particularly, are a fantastic protein food source.

Cold water fish are great if you are wanting to be in a better mood. Wild salmon, herring, mackerel, trout, and tuna are all full of omega-3 fats and DHA. These are two things that improve the quality and the function of your brain’s grey matter. It’s true: eating a tuna fish sandwich can earnestly raise your mood.

Grains can be excellent for fighting a bad mood. Quinoa, millet, teff and barley are all actually great for helping increase your happiness levels. They help you feel full also which can truly help to make your mood better. It’s easy to feel low when you are starving! These grains can elevate your mood since it’s easy for your body to digest them. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps promote a rise in your blood sugar which in turn takes your mood to a happier place.

Green tea is really excellent for your mood. You just knew it had to be included in this article, right? Green tea is high in a specific amino acid known as L-theanine. Studies prove that this specific amino acid can basically stimulate brain waves. This helps raise your mental sharpness while having a relaxing effect on the rest of your body. You were already aware that that green tea helps you become healthier. Now you are well aware that it helps you to raise your moods also!
