Some grains are actually excellent for fighting off bad moods. Teff, barley, millet, quinoa, etc are all great for helping you feel happier. These grains can help you feel full for longer as well, helping you feel better. Feeling famished can be a real downer! The reason these grains can improve your mood is that they are not difficult for your stomach to digest. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps promote a rise in your glucose levels which in turn takes your mood to a happier place.

Green tea is excellent for moods. You were simply anticipating to read that, weren’t you? Green tea has been found to be chock-full of an amino acid known as L-theanine. Studies show that this particular amino acid can basically induce brain waves. This helps better your mental sharpness while calming the rest of your body. You likely already knew how easy it is to become healthy when you consume green tea. Now you are well aware that green tea helps you to lift your moods as well!
