Ring Dum Diddy is one of the most favored of current trending meals in the world. It is simple, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. They’re nice and they look wonderful. Ring Dum Diddy is something which I have loved my entire life.

To begin with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few components. You can have ring dum diddy using 7 ingredients and 11 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Ring Dum Diddy:
  1. Get 1 spam
  2. Take 1 American cheese (Velveeta)
  3. Prepare 1/3 onion
  4. Prepare 1 butter
  5. Make ready 1 bread
  6. Make ready Black pepper (optional)
  7. Get Hot sauce (optional)

Similar to its brother Rarebit, Ring Tum Ditty (or Diddy - wow the debates keep raging) was a tomato based sauce on toast. Unlike Rarebit, this is super super simple. Depending on what was at hand, it might include tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, or even tomato soup. Preferably canned homemade soup but in a pinch, good old Campbell's.

Instructions to make Ring Dum Diddy:
  1. Ready your bread, i still suggest plain white bread
  2. Butter the bread, might seem unneeded, but trust me, it's required
  3. Prep the proper amount of onion
  4. Chop it into small pieces, since i am making a small single serving, I'm using this, usually i use a food processor
  5. Next do your spam, in a food processor, i add it to the onions, here I'll just stir it
  6. Add the cheese next, grated in this case. If you are using a food processor, see small chunks and reduce it all together
  7. If you want, add pepper and or hot sauce
  8. Pulse to mix or in my case, stir
  9. Spread on buttered bread evenly
  10. Broil them. Yes, I'm using the toaster oven, however you broil them, keep an eye on them.
  11. When they are done to your liking, remove. If giving to kids, let them cool a minute first. As kids we typically didn't like char spots, except on these, go figure. The char spots add to the flavor.

Depending on what was at hand, it might include tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, or even tomato soup. Preferably canned homemade soup but in a pinch, good old Campbell's. Squish the tomatoes through your fingers into the pot. Add the cheese and stir until melted. Spoon the Ring Tum Ditty over the halved potatoes and wait for the compliments.

Foods That Make Your Mood Better

A lot of us have been conditioned to think that comfort foods are terrible and to be avoided. Often, if your comfort food is made of candy or other junk foods, this is true. Other times, though, comfort foods can be completely healthy and it’s good for you to consume them. There are a number of foods that basically can improve your moods when you consume them. If you are feeling a little bit down and you’re in need of a happiness pick me up, try a couple of these.

Eggs, you might be surprised to discover, are terrific at battling depression. Just be sure that you do not throw away the egg yolk. The egg yolk is the most crucial part of the egg in terms of helping you cheer up. Eggs, the egg yolk especially, are high in B vitamins. The B vitamin family can be fantastic for elevating your mood. This is because they help your neural transmitters–the parts of your brain that dictate your mood–function better. Consume an egg and jolly up!

Build a trail mix from seeds and/or nuts. Your mood can be improved by consuming peanuts, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, etc. This is because seeds and nuts have plenty of magnesium which boosts your brain’s serotonin levels. Serotonin is a feel-good substance that directs the brain how to feel at any given point in time. The more of this chemical in your brain, the more pleasant you’ll feel. Not just that, nuts, particularly, are a terrific source of protein.

Cold water fish are great for eating if you are wanting to beat back depression. Salmon, herring, tuna, mackerel, trout, etcetera, they’re all chock-full of omega-3 and DHA. These are two things that promote the quality and the function of your brain’s grey matter. It’s true: chomping on a tuna fish sandwich can really help you fight depression.

Grains can be great for driving away a terrible mood. Quinoa, millet, teff and barley are all actually wonderful for helping raise your happiness levels. These grains fill you up better and that can help elevate your moods as well. It’s not hard to feel a little bit off when you are starving! These grains can help your mood elevate because it’s not at all hard for your body to digest them. You digest them more quickly than other foods which can help increase your blood sugar levels, which, in turn, helps make you feel better, mood wise.

Your mood could truly be helped by green tea. You just knew it had to be mentioned in this article, right? Green tea is loaded with an amino acid called L-theanine. Research has proven that this amino acid promotes the production of brain waves. This helps sharpen your mental energy while at the same time relaxing the rest of your body. You were already aware that green tea could help you become better. Now you know green tea can help you be happier also!

So you see, you don’t need to consume all that junk food when you want to feel better! Try a few of these suggestions instead.
